One of the most popular Napier attractions is The National Aquarium of New Zealand which is located on the waterfront promenade, Marine Parade. It's New Zealands largest aquarium and is a top level facility. A short stroll down the road, there is the Hawkes Bay Museum and Art Gallery which has been running for over 80 years. The Museum showcases the history of the area and even some ancient Maori artefacts.

If you are looking for something fun for the kids to do then try Par 2 Mini Golf, and the Ocean Spa Pool complex. Hours of fun for the kids, and adults alike! The 4 attractions just mentioned are all located on Marine Parade - All within an easy 5 - 10 minute walk from each other. Leave the kids at the mini golf while you browse the museum, get some shopping time in across the road, or relax in a spa at the Ocean Spa pool complex.

If its sightseeing or natural attractions you are looking for then you are in luck. Napier is located right on the coastline so there are great views to be had from Bluff Hill, out over the bay. Travelling south a little to Hastings and Havelock North, you'll soon discover the many vineyards, wineries and agricultural produce the Hawkes Bay is famous for.
